We’re always looking into ways we can improve our puzzles, whether that be making them more challenging, more entertaining with our themed whimsies or better quality. Some of you thought our puzzles might benefit from a more substantial wood to enhance the tactile feel and experience of completing our unique puzzles. So, we’ve listened to you and are making a change to the thickness of our puzzles - from 3mm to 4mm. While this doesn’t sound like a lot, this means our puzzles will be a third thicker, with an even more satisfying ‘click’, and pieces that are easier to hold and fit more precisely together.
All new puzzles, yes -that means all our /seasonal-jigsaw-puzzles/christmas-jigsaw-collection/new-christmas-puzzles as well, will be made using this new thicker 4mm wood. While we make this change some existing designs from previous collections may be on either thickness, but please be assured that both 3 and 4mm thick wood adhere to our high standards of production and quality.
What’s more, there is no price increase to reflect this change, meaning you will continue to enjoy your favourite puzzles at their existing prices but now with thicker wood.
So far, the feedback has been great, and we are so pleased that many of our customers are enjoying their puzzles in this new thickness.
Of course, all designs will continue to have the same clever cut patterns, themed whimsies and irregular-shaped pieces, interesting images, and premium Wentworth quality.
