Before we finish for the Christmas break, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for buying our puzzles this year, and for being so patient and understanding with our longer delivery times.
Since March, when our orders increased threefold overnight and our plans to install a new machine were thwarted by COVID, our team here has worked relentlessly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week oi produce almost 250,000 puzzles and despatch them to customers worldwide. We are so proud to be able to create a product which has clearly helped distract and entertain so many people throughout this difficult year.
We are still taking orders now via our website but all puzzles are made to order and the current production lead time is 20 working days. As we clear our backlog into January this lead time will reduce and you can find up to date lead times on our website.
I am afraid we will not be having our usual Winter Sale this year as we have very little stock left, other than a small number of clearance puzzles which will be on our website in early January. Our new Spring Collection will be available later in February and we will email you as soon as this is live on our website.
If you have been buying our puzzles for many years, you will know our normal practice is to manufacture stock for all puzzles before we make them available to for sale on our website. We normally ship orders within 3 days and aim to be back to this level of service as soon as possible in 2021. Our new machine is due to be installed in March, creating 30% more production capacity overnight and we have space to install a second new machine as soon as we need it.
