A Guide to Our Piece and Puzzle Sizes
To get the best enjoyment from your jigsaw puzzle, it’s best to pick one that is the right size and piece count for your ability and level of challenge desired. Wentworth Wooden Puzzles are certainly a little different from your average Jigsaw Puzzle. They all contain our themed puzzle cuts featuring no corner pieces, irregular shaped pieces and of course our unique shaped pieces called whimsies. If you’re new to us we understand that you may need a hand when choosing your very first Wentworth Puzzle, so we’ve created a handy size guide to help you decide on the best one for you. We recommend the 250 piece as a good starting point – it’s our most popular size! Once you have a feel of the best sized puzzle for you, why not check out our collection to find your favourite design – we make most of our puzzles in a variety of piece counts, so you won’t miss out on your favourite one.
1,000 Piece Puzzle Size
Our 1,000 piece puzzles are one of our largest sizes and a real challenge for even the most devoted dissectologist. Perfect for a longer puzzling experience!
The dimensions for our 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles are 510 x 730mm so they will need a larger coffee table or dining table to be assembled on.

500 Piece Puzzle Size
500 piece puzzles are a great size for intermediate puzzlers, looking for the next step up from the 250.
Our 500 piece jigsaw puzzles measure 360 x 510mm so would need a decent-sized coffee table to be assembled comfortably, with room for sorting and organising pieces.

250 Piece Puzzle Size
As mentioned earlier, our 250 piece puzzles are our most popular and best-selling size. It’s a great starting point for your Wentworth Puzzle journey, and although the piece count may seem small, it’s actually equivalent to a 1,000 piece cardboard puzzle.
250 piece puzzles measure 250 x 360mm so can be done on a small coffee table or desk space.

Mini Mindful Puzzle Sizes
As suggested by their name, our Mini Mindful puzzles are our smallest jigsaw puzzles. They vary in piece count between 40 -80 pieces but don’t be fooled by their small size – they’re still quite tricky
The best thing about Mini Mindful jigsaw puzzles is that they don’t take up much room – they can be done on any small flat surface.

Wentworth Puzzles Size Guide
Buying your first Wentworth Puzzle and not sure what size to go for? We've made a handy size guide to help you decide. Each of our puzzle sizes has a letter which indicates the number of pieces and the dimensions. Our W size is 250 pieces and is a great starting point for your first Wentworth. It might seem like a low piece count but is about the same difficulty level as a 1,000 piece cardboard puzzle, and is our most popular size. We also offer smaller puzzles which despite their low piece count are still very tricky. Plus large size puzzles in a 1,000 piece count and even some 1,500 for a super long puzzling experience. One of the great things about our puzzles is that most of our designs and images are available in multiple different sizes and piece counts so you can match your favourite puzzle picture to your ability.
