How would you describe your art?
A cacophony of colour, shape and pattern. I leave no space untouched.
Where do you draw inspiration from?
I’m an observer of things. I like to look at things closer than I think most do and I’m looking for pattern and shapes. Bringing those observations into my busy works is fun, sometimes it’ll be a literal pattern or sometimes just a thought that leads to an interesting outcome.
Do you have any ‘signature’ techniques, styles or processes that we should look out for in your art?
The use of colour and embellishing are my biggest signatures. I don’t shy away from using all the colours and then I love to add more colour on top of the base in the way of pattern and other flourishes.
How do you feel about your art being made into a puzzle?
It’s fabulous, my art might not suit a lot of home interiors but as a puzzle, it’s a super enjoyable way to embrace it.

Do you ever complete a puzzle yourself?
Yes – but I’m an all or nothing puzzler. If I don’t have time to sit and complete a whole puzzle I won’t start one. My favourite time to do puzzles are on miserable days in winter while binging some subscription tv with the family, it’s even better if I never have to get out of my pjs!
As an artist what do you feel makes a good puzzle image?
An interesting theme then colour, pattern and repetition to make it a bit more challenging. Hidden gems are always fun too.
