National Jigsaw Day 2015
National Jigsaw Day: Could you be the first Minister for Jigsaws?
Tuesday 3rd November will see the first ever National Jigsaw Day backed by Wentworth Wooden Puzzles. To celebrate, we thought it was high time the trusty jigsaw was praised for its endless benefits; an immersive and rewarding pastime, jigsaw puzzling is the ultimate relaxation, particularly in a world where it’s easy to get consumed by the sole pursuit of electronic gadgets.
So on the inaugural National Jigsaw Day, Wentworth Puzzles is launching its nationwide search for two new Minister for Jigsaw roles (one adult, one child). They will be given the honour of road-testing new jigsaws and help to design new puzzles for the company, as well as backing the overarching campaign to #BringBackJigsaws. All ages are welcome to apply and must send an email (of approx. 100 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org explaining why they are right for the role with any accompanying images or materials.
Applications will be open until 30th November 2015, and the Minister for Jigsaws and the Junior Minister for Jigsaws (under 14) will be announced on 15th December 2015.
